What we’re seeking:

As a Door-to-Door Outside Sales agent for Frontier’s Consumer Direct Sales organization, you will play a crucial role in connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class telecommunication products & services. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective customers through door-to-door solicitation, promoting our high-speed fiber internet, phone, & bolt-on “Value-added” services. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in an environment where effort is directly correlated with earning potential, as we offer performance-based commissions/rewards. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our San Angelo, TX, location to complete your work responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Acquire new residential customers from assigned leads & territory based on door-to-door solicitation, outbound calling campaigns, lead follow-up, grass-root marketing events, etc

Conduct proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers

Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers' needs

Support team and team goals by actively participating in all sales meetings and complete training programs

Achieve monthly sales quotas

Complete all administrative tasks related to products sold in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, & quality control guidelines

Stay well-informed about competitors' activities in the assigned territory and inform the manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directives

Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor

Salary Range: $40,000 base salary plus generous commission structure

What background you should have:

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively and professionally with customers

Proficient in identifying customer needs and tailoring the right solution to the customer use case

A strong personal drive to meet and exceed sales targets

Ability to travel to and from assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle, including during inclement weather (mileage reimbursement is provided)

Familiarity with computer operating systems, software applications, and communication devices

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to maximize customer contact

Valid driver's license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This role requires up to 100% vehicle travel within the assigned territory. Travel will be primarily within the local footprint as needed to canvass assigned territory during sales activities

High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous success in sales, prospecting, or cold calling, with 2+ years of direct sales experience preferred

Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services, particularly fixed telecommunications services such as cable, fiber, or fixed-wireless access

Ability to educate consumers on related products and services as needed
