Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Family Medicine Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant Sign-On for Eligible New Hires Work location : 5501 Gordon Smith Rd Suite 500 Rowlett TX 75089 Work hours: Fulltime, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm Internal Medicine Department highlights:

Here’s What You Need

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (required)

High level of administrative work background

EMR, Epic experience (preferred)

ACLS or BLS (preferred)

Epic experience (preferred)

Experience in a fast-paced clinic (preferred)

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process

Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position

Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician

Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights

Ability to multitask

May work in the front office as needed

May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
