- Write solution (deployment, how-to, and best practice) documents (40 to 200 page) covering Networking technical concepts to ensure our solutions are well understood and utilized to the greatest extent possible.
- Create demos and hands-on-labs that enable our field teams to share our solution’s capabilities with customers.
- Assist and perform training events, demos, and customer discussions.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments to transactions.
- Work with customers on complex deployments to help ensure successful product deployment.
- Work closely with Product Managers and provide product feedback for future development.
- 5+ years of work experience as an Networking Engineer/Admin/Engineering Technologist / Technical Marketing Engineer and 8+ years professional experience.
- Have worked as a Technical Marketing Engineer/Networking/VMware Admin in datacenter technologies including virtualization, storage, networking and/or public clouds.
- Hands-on experience with network switch configuration, topology design, whole solution (compute, networking and storage) architectural design
- Superb written and verbal communication skills characterized by clarity and brevity.
- Willingness to write large scale (40 to 200 page) documents with a focus on “how to” and Networking best practices for multiple audiences
- BS in Computer Science or related OR 10+ years’ experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Data center network infrastructure administration experience
