Description Job Title: Senior Staff AccountantJob Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant, with strong accounting and organizational skills, to join our finance team. This role involves an array of accounting responsibilities including, but not limited to, preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls and executing payroll as well as administrative tasks such as filing and shredding documents.Responsibilities:Prepare, review and ensure accuracy of financial statements.Assist in budget and financial forecast preparations.Assist with external audits and support periodic internal financial audits.Manage daily cash flow controls and update financial transactions in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.Ensure the integrity of financial data and uphold internal controls.Accurately complete end-of-month accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.Provide essential administrative support, which includes but is not limited to organizing and filing relevant documents, shredding sensitive documents, and maintaining efficient office operations.Assist management in the decision-making process by delivering pertinent financial reports and participating in company meetings.Collaborate effectively with other teams and departments to ensure smooth and reliable business operations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.Proven experience as a Senior Staff Accountant or similar role.Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and financial principles.Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Outstanding time management and organizational skills.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter who has the capability to work independently and collaboratively. The candidate should also exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, be dedicated to maintaining company financial and ethical integrity, and be willing to adapt to administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.
