Description We are seeking a proficient Revenue Accountant to join our dynamic team located in Rollingwood, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the financial health of our company by preparing journal entries, reconciling financial discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial reports. You will also be instrumental in transitioning from QuickBooks to NetSuite and ensuring that our 2023 and 2024 financials are audit-ready.Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely journal entries to ensure the integrity of financial data Manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and understand the implications for revenue recognition Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Transition financial systems from QuickBooks to NetSuite, ensuring a smooth and efficient changeover Prepare the company's financials for 2023 and 2024, ensuring they are audit-ready Assist in the day-to-day financial operations, including the resolution of accounting discrepancies Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations Develop strategies to improve financial health and provide financial advice and guidance to upper management for decision making Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances when necessaryRequirements Demonstrated proficiency in Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) calculations Experience in creating and managing journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting Familiarity with NetSuite for accounting and financial management Experience in using QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting Knowledge in Revenue Recognition Accounting for recognizing revenue from business transactions Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
