International manufacturer and supplier in the electronics industry is growing organically and through acquisition. They are adding to their team and seeking a Security Architect for cloud environments. This is a global footprint using state of the art technologies to connect over 200 sites across the globe.Enable secure cloud deployments including IAM implementation, security capabilities. Support preventative and detective response controls. Secure third-party software integrations, improve incident management capabilities, as well as enhance system hardening requirements, and security requirements for development and cloud teams.Develop architectures that ensure that technology products, IT infrastructure and processes reach the highest standards of security practices and compliance. Champion and train on the development and adoption of cloud security standards while improving security policies, procedures and standards for cloud-based solutions.
BACKGROUND- Expert level industry experience designing secure systems on public / hybrid cloud using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other public clouds including loud agnostic security architecture.
- Strong experience with industry standards including NIST, SOC, CSA STAR, ISO27002, and CMMC.
- Experience establishing and implementing compliance and security standards and repeatable controls for cloud deployments.
- Experience securing service-oriented architectures using RESTful API's.
- Strong experience with secure solutions for data in transit.
- One or more industry certifications such as: CISSP, CCSP, or relevant GIAC certifications HIGHLY PREFERRED
