Title: Packet Testing Engineer Location: Dallas, TX Required skills: 4+ years working/testing experience with SP L2 and L3 technology (MPLS-TE, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, L3VPN, L2VPN, LAG/LACP, BFD, QoS, SNMP, CFM) . Ability to configure Cisco XR and XE platforms is a must and familiarity any of Cisco platforms ASR9k, NCS55xx, NCS540, NCS4200 series is a plus. Ability to emulate and scale using traffic generators such as Ixia/Spirent Experience working with Service Provider networks and exposure to Service Provider design/architecture Strong understanding of carrier ethernet E-line functionality which includes EVPL and EPL concepts and knowledge of Circuit Emulation which includes RFC 1588 and SyncE. Testing of Sonet APS and UPSR. Scripting/automation knowledge(nice to have): PERL, Python, TCL or equivalent
