Job Description - Senior .NET Developer - Remote
SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER REMOTE IN THE U.S.THE POSITION:ICS is hiring for a Senior Software Developer to join our global software client's team! You will assist in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from security reviews and defining requirements to deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate for this position will be primarily responsible for .NET/C# development of APIs and data analysis solutions for our enterprise customers, but will also have a hand in the full stack including UI, solution architecture, automation, and devops.The role is all about clean code, test-driven development, security, and designing and implementing elegant solutions to complex use cases. You will be part of a passionate team of developers who are looking for a new Senior Software Developer to join the ever-growing team. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is nice, but relevant experience is great as well.
- Advanced experience with commercial full stack C#/.NET web development.
- Experience with frontend development - Angular / JavaScript / Typescript / ReactJS.
- Knowledge of database structures and development - we use SQL Server although MySQL, Snowflake, and Redshift are in use as well.
- Familiarity with distributed source control - we use GitHub.
- Bonus points for experience with GIS and/or Location Intelligence solutions - ability to "think spatially".
- Comfortable with Test-driven development, Secure coding practices, and Agile/Scrum project management.
- Used to working as part of a distributed/remote team.
- Strong ability to problem-solve and work through complex tasks collaboratively.
