Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report .Project Overview:Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake. The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers.Job Summary:In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. #LI-BH1Major Responsibilities:Level 1

Prepares construction drawings and sketches.

Facilitates planning construction methods and procedures.

Initiates requisitions for field purchases

Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.

Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.

Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities

Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.

Reviews and approves inspection test plans,

Coordinates reviews of subcontractor submittals,

Level 2

Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans.

Education and Experience Requirements:Level 1

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience

Level 2

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience walking down piping installation work packages and piping test packages.

Experience with ASME B31.3 piping code.

Experience with installing aboveground pipe and underground pipe, both metallic and HDPE.

Experience with cryogenic piping is preferred.

Ability to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
