Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - iOS/Android/Mobile Development for our client in the financial industry in their Plano, TX location. This is a 6 month + contract to hire position.

Description: Seeking a Software Engineer - iOS/Android/Mobile Development

Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests complex software applications that support business units or supporting functions
  • These application program solutions involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
  • Will be expected to learn new technologies and concepts as needed by the project
  • Works well under minimal supervision, with general guidance from team leads or senior developers

Requirements:
  • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science
  • Understanding of software engineering (coding) principles in iOS/Objective-C/Swift
  • Understanding of software engineering (coding) principles in Android/C/Java/C#
  • Understanding of software engineering concepts, most importantly object-oriented design
  • Ability to contribute to a team of engineers in cross-functional teams (including QA, Product Management, etc)
  • Expertise or familiarity with well-designed user interfaces
  • Good interpersonal communication skills for technical and business conversations
  • Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)

Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of Agile Methodology and the role of a developer on Agile teams
  • Experience developing on iOS/Android or other mobile device is a plus
