They define opportunity areas and targets for VPP, create strategies to prioritize and gain new business, and lead a team to execute upon those strategies for long-term, sustainable, and profitable growth. They work to build, strengthen, and maintain positive relationships with the relevant regional leadership, Experience Centers, TMNA, Private Labels, National Accounts, and dealer and consumer stakeholders. The Senior Manager –VPP Sales Excellence is vital to support TFS strategy, being a leader in the industry, and positively impacting customer experience through innovation and execution excellence.A large emphasis will be placed on accelerating growth in non-traditional spaces for TFS and this senior leader will play a critical role. Within both traditional and non-traditional spaces, the senior leader will be accountable for growing profitability 2 to 3 times current levels as well as improving the Service Performance of our VSA and Certified products.TFS executive management has set forth very aggressive financial goals, in which growth in the VPP business plays a very vital role. This Senior Manager is integral in the development and accountability of a best-in-class sales team that has a high level of sales and relationship capabilities balanced with offerings that allow TFS to compete aggressively in the industry. Furthermore, this role will partner with the both HQ VPP Department and Field Sales teams to lead the entire team in change management opportunities that yield profitable growth for the company.What you’ll be doing

Cultivate and maintain effective leadership and accountability of the Sales Account Executive and Service Performance team to meet objectives for the net sales, margin, loss ratio, and profitable growth of the department and company.

Travel or otherwise sell directly to dealerships, and accounts, and communicate with Toyota/TFS stakeholders as needed to support new business, conquest opportunities, as well as improvements within the existing portfolio.

Develop and oversee the execution of business proposals, acquisition, and retention of Products throughout the dealer network and customer portfolio resulting in greater competitiveness for TFS VPP.

Create business opportunities in the growth of profitable VPP segments, and control/oversight of unprofitable VPP segments.

Develop localized and targeted VPP profiles and opportunities in conjunction with multiple functional leadership.

Liaise with the TFS Field Organization, TIMS, TMNA division, and our VPP Servicing team on various VPP activities as needed.

Build relationships with a broad audience both internal and external to TFS.

Portray thought leadership across all facets of the business and drive cohesiveness.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree required.

10+ years of relevant work experience in the automotive finance protection products space.

People leadership experience with proven ability to grow, develop, and inspire a team.

Learning agility, flexibility, creativity, and proven ability to drive results.

Effective approach to support change management needed at TFS.

Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills as well as verbal and written communication.

Added bonus if you have

Advanced degree preferred.

Insurance License preferred.

Retail (Dealer) Sales or F&I experience is a plus.
