Is that you?Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, Texas, 75093Work hours: Full Time, 36 Hours; 7:00pm – 7:00amNICU Department highlights:· 45 bed Level IV NICU caring for babies as early as 22 weeks gestation· Family centered care with new family center· Strong staff engagement and collaboration· Leadership supportive of staff and growth and development through NCAP programHere’s What You Need· Diploma in Nursing or· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required· BSN preferred· One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.· One year of NICU experience strongly preferred· RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly· NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days required· PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required· NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 days requiredWhat You Will Do· Assesses the patient· Plans the care of the patient· Intervenes as appropriate· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.Since 1991, Texas Health Plano has served the communities of Plano, Frisco, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, and McKinney.
