Mid Level Java Developer

Location: Remote/Plano, TX

About the Role:

Work on a team of senior, mid and associate Java Developers with a mix of experience in some of the technology listed below to support various full stack and backend Java development banking (such as credit cards, deposits, payments, etc.) projects. The projects are a mix of some new development and some enhancements to support new requirements, especially around compliance, regulatory, etc. There might also be some re-platforming from their old "legacy" Java stack to a new stack.

Requirements for Mid Level Java Developer:

4+ Java development experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience in the 5 areas mentioned below. The rest are desired.

Tech Stack:

Java

REST API/Web Services

Junit & Eclipse (or similar unit testing/IDE skills)

Spring Framework (MVC and/or Spring Boot)

Agile

Desired:

Docker (containers)

Kafka (messaging)

Microservices

JavaScript Frameworks (Angular/React)

WebSphere

Test Drive Development (TDD)

CI/CD environment and technologies
