Shifts 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shifts (12 hour shifts, 4 days/week one week and 3 days/week the next week)
Our client is seeking a Major Incident Manager to run, coordinate, and drive major incident solutions.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Major Incident Manager:- Execute major incident management process
- Facilitate technical and application recovery bridges
- Document recovery timelines
- Communicate across all levels of leadership
- Provide focus, direction, and create a controlled environment for swift recovery
- Serve as main point of contact to participants for updates, guidance, questions, and other critical facilitation needs
- Capture good incident documentation, deliver quality communication, and balance a high attention to detail
- Assess priority for major incidents with support teams and senior IT/Business Leadership
- At least 5 years of experience in IT with direct incident response experience within a large organization
- Excellent people skills and perseverance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills to support the synthesis of knowledge and information out of abstract and varying types of data points
- G Suite, Slack, ServiceNow, AION, and AWS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- AWS Cloud experience
