Description We are looking for a Director of HR to join our team in Plano, Texas. This role is pivotal in managing the full spectrum of human resources and administration functions. The successful candidate will liaise with senior management in strategic decision making and operations, demonstrating strong skills in areas such as legal and compliance.Responsibilities: Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, employee training, and handling sensitive internal HR issues Update required HR materials, including handbooks, policies, and procedures Review all legal agreements to ensure compliance Ensure the company adheres to the Parent Company’s compliance programs and provide necessary training Participate in risk management reviews and coordinate resolution of issues with the parent company’s insurance department and insurance broker Participate in insurance claims activity, including reporting to senior management and creating policy and procedures Use Ceridian software for HR functions Administer employee benefits and compensation Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and laws Handle employee relations issues and provide necessary support and advice.Requirements Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role. Familiarity with compliance regulations and procedures related to HR. Strong skills in managing employee relations are essential. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Should be able to effectively manage and resolve conflicts. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to guide a team. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other HR-related software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Should be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of current HR practices and industry trends is required.
