MMBSI is looking for an exceptional Analytics & Insight Delivery Vice President to join its Finance and Business Management (F&BM) organization. This role will be responsible for enhancing data and information delivery across MMBSI.The Analytics & Insight Delivery VP will be responsible for contributing to MMBSI’s automated reporting and analytics solutions, and will be responsible for managing data projects that involve partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, defining project goals and risks to execution, gathering and defining comprehensive requirements, and monitoring projects through the entire project lifecycle.The selected candidate will use a strong data and analytics background and an understanding of sales and financial operations to inform decision-making, solve problems, and provide analytical insights and information in support of strategic and tactical initiatives across MMBSI.Key Responsibilities
Own analytics and reporting projects and data requests from start to finish, including scoping, prioritization and wrangling
Identify and help implement automation opportunities around information production and delivery
Inventory and manage recurring reporting or other analytics and address knowledge gaps
Collaborate across cross-functional teams to document workflows, identify gaps, propose improvements, and drive consensus to achieve agreed set of requirements for sales and financial data/analytics and reporting initiatives
Inform and leverage data strategy to build trust in information and use information as a strategic asset
Evaluate and inform business cases and requirements documents, develop test plans and define key performance indicators
Preferred Qualifications
BA / BS degree; Masters in Analytics or similar field preferred
5+ years of relevant work experience in strategy, data wrangling, automated reporting, or strategic analytics projects
Must haves:
Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking
Excellent communication at multiple levels of the organization, and the ability to influence others for a recommended course of action
Hands on data gathering experience using SQL
An ability to condense information into clear and tangible insights in executive-ready presentations
Preferred hands on experiences with:
Alteryx (including the use of macros)
R
Python
Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau/QlikSense/Einstein Analytics
Experience working in a Hadoop environment
Knowledge of Commercial Banking and / or Middle Market
