We are looking for a Sterile Processing Technologist for the OR at Texas Health Center Diagnostics & Surgery. Is that you?Work Location : Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery is located at 6020 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093Schedule: Fulltime Nights for 40 hrs./ week 11:00pm – 7:30am Mondays - Fridays, with no weekend and holiday rotating on-call requirementsOperating Room (OR) at THCDS Highlights:

Fun Work Environment

Department is revamping and getting all new equipment/sterilizers. Will be part of rebuild

Surgical Hospital with many different surgical service lines (Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Urology, OB, Pediatric, plasty and general surgery)

Here's What You Need:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

One year experience in Sterile Processing Preferred

CRCSTCertified Registered Central Service TechnicianRequired upon hire OR

CSPDTCertified Sterile Processing & Distribution TechnicianRequired upon hire OR

CBSPDCertified Board for Sterile Processing & DistributionUpon hire required

What You Will Do:

Maintenance of surgical instruments

Performs Scanning of instrument trays for location and creation off count sheet/label

Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays

Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray
