As an eCommerce & Commercial Platforms Sr. Architect, you will support the Direct Commerce program's growing needs and other strategic eCommerce initiatives.- Provide technical leadership to implement the commerce platform for Pepsico Food North America businesses utilizing modern opensource and other COTS commerce platforms and custom-built solutions,
- Conduct architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, develop technical designs, and review deliverables.
- Establish standards for commerce development in PFNA, ensure architectural fidelity, long term maintainability, and adherence to long term strategic goals by working closely with enterprise architects and development teamsAF-Tech
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related
- Expert level understanding and experience with evolutionary software architectures that utilize microservices, APIs, event-driven platforms. Ability to articulate design principles to teams and ensure architectural fidelity.
- 10+ years of software design/development in commerce and deep knowledge of web protocols (HTTP), web services, and Restful APIs.
- Over 5 years of experience in delivering significant digital transformation or emerging technology projects.
- 10+ years of experience in Java microservices and complex transactional commerce systems is a must.
- Knowledge of complex Integration architectures (ERP systems/EDI/SOAP/REST APIs)
- Knowledge of SAP platform and integration technologies like Informatica (ETL) is a big plus.
- 3+ years of experience on any cloud-native technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Wide breadth of IT experiences, particularly in the eCommerce space.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, gain respect in a matrix environment and drive solutions.
