Employer seeking a qualified dental assistant to work at the office in Pasadena. Candidate must have prior assisting experience and be familiar with taking digital x-rays. Other duties include assisting doctor in all areas of dentistry, setting up and cleaning treatment rooms as well as lab/office. Hours are Monday 9-5, Wednesday 10-6, Friday 8-4, Saturday 9-2 Ability to speak Spanish is preferred. We are a fun office and take pride in providing superior customer service. Prepare patient, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist dentist during dental procedures. Record treatment information in patient records. Expose dental diagnostic x-rays. Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients. Assist dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies.
