Control Systems Engineer - Incineration (HTT) The Control Systems Engineer will manage, coordinate, and develop all aspects of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems and Distributive Control Systems to ensure the facility is operating in a manner safe to human health and the environment . Essential Functions & Requirements:
Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
Maintain process related systems
Modify software and hardware to improve process capabilities
Maintain communication between DCS/PLC/TCPIP bases systems
Perform data analysis to better understand process capabilities
Train operations and maintenance personnel on computer systems
Setting up, installing, and maintaining PCs and software.
On-call during off-work hours
Coordinates project activities with government regulatory agencies
Other duties as assigned
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent. (required)
Experience:
Minimum three (3) years' experience with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS, and/or SCADA programming applications. (required)
Three (3) years' experience in Visual Basic, Database programming, PC/Server networking, instrumentation, and industrial control system design. (preferred)
Experience with ABB Bailey Infi 90, Allen Bradley PLC, RCRA, and MACT regulations. (preferred)
TCP / IP networking and NT experience. (preferred)
Competencies:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities.
Excellent problem resolution, judgement, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to both lead and work within a team environment.
Ability to travel up to 10% of time to assist at other Heritage locations.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job .
