Job Overview:The Landscape Coordinator position is responsible for the oversight of contracted landscape services and projects in the community and acts as a liaison between homeowners and vendors.Your Responsibilities:
Understands the Homeowners Association (HOA) Guidelines and Standards for all aspects of landscape in the community, including but not limited to, what is the responsibility of the homeowner and HOA, what plant material is on the approved list, and what the process is for changing landscape material.
Coordinates and oversees the execution of contracted landscape maintenance services
Acts as a liaison between homeowner and landscape vendors.
Communicates frequently with Community Association Manager (CAM), Board of Directors (BOD) and homeowners on landscaping services, work order progress and projects through written weekly reports.
Works with vendors to create a strong discipline of expectations and communication.
Works with vendors to troubleshoot challenges affecting the quality of property curb appeal including disease and pest management, invasive and undesirable plant species, turf management, and general plant decline.
Works with vendors, BOD, and CAM on preventative planning for the above issues.
Attends requested meetings with CAM, the BOD and vendors.
Assists with creating and overseeing Request for Proposals (RFPs) for landscape services.
Assists in all aspects of landscape projects from scheduling to completion.
Ensures each project is running efficiently and on schedule.
Maintains direct contact with the vendor, CAM and homeowner to ensure proper communication throughout the project.
Ensures a neat, clean, and safe job site and work atmosphere during projects.
Performs various maintenance and cleaning tasks as assigned.
Maintains a friendly and professional attitude at all times.
Skills & Qualifications:
Prior landscape and Irrigation experienced preferred
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, listening and customer service skills
Ability to understand contract and policy terms
Microsoft Office knowledge and ability to create and edit documents
Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work with minimum supervision
Understanding of work hazards and safety practices
Physical Requirements:
Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Standing, sitting, walking for extended periods of time
Ability to work extended/flexible hours and attend events as needed
Ability to work outside for extended periods of time
Must maintain a valid driver’s license at all times
