Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a certified Data Analyst. To be successful in this role, you should be able to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.Your responsibilities in this role
Collect and analyze data for various types of business reports
Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis
Communicate findings of data analysis to managers, written and verbally
Support database updates and maintain accuracy
Analyze data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
Create data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use
Review data to identify changes in financial and business trends
Develop business reports that provide insight into key data points Requirements - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
Skilled in time management and prioritization to meet project deadlines
Demonstrated ability to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts from data tools
Superb critical thinking skills to make decisions and solve business problems
Detail oriented, able to notice small details that could impact results
1 to 3 years of experience as a financial or business analyst
Familiarity with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
Strong analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
