Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our bank located in Midland, Texas. The primary job function is to provide telephone support for our customers and employees, serving as an expert on bank policies, procedures, products, and problem resolution. As a representative, you will be expected to provide immediate service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.Responsibilities: Provide telephone support for customers and employees, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Serve as an expert on bank policies, procedures, and products, providing accurate and comprehensive information to customers. Handle inbound inquiries, ensuring that all customer queries are answered promptly and efficiently. Maintain a high level of Customer Service, ensuring that each interaction is handled with professionalism and courtesy. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate. Maintain accurate customer credit records, updating information as necessary to ensure accurate record keeping. Resolve customer credit inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses to any queries or concerns. Monitor customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action as necessary to collect delinquent payments. Work in an inbound call center environment, managing multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the banking industry Proven ability to handle inbound calls in a professional and timely manner Experience in dealing with inbound inquiries, providing prompt and accurate responses Solid understanding of customer service principles and practices Ability to manage multiple inbound telephone calls and prioritize tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of banking industry practices and regulations is a plus Proficiency in using computer systems and software, especially related to customer service functions.
