Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Personal Banker in Midland, Texas. As a key player in the banking industry, you will be tasked with profiling customers, marketing a range of credit and non-credit products, and providing services to both existing and potential individual and small business customers. Responsibilities: Profiling customers to understand their financial needs and offering suitable banking products and services. Marketing a full range of credit and non-credit products to potential individual and small business customers. Servicing account relationships on an ongoing basis, both within and outside the bank premises. Utilizing banking software and LaserPro for efficient service delivery. Handling inbound customer calls and resolving inquiries. Processing checks and ensuring compliance with banking regulations. Maintaining strong business banking relationships and promoting community banking. Managing cash handling and daily banking operations. Taking consumer loan applications and opening new accounts. Ensuring adherence to banking services regulations and standards. Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Personal Banker role or similar within a banking environment. Proficiency in banking software is a must to effectively manage all banking operations. Knowledge of LaserPro software is essential for document preparation and compliance. The candidate should be comfortable with answering inbound calls and addressing customer inquiries promptly. Experience in check processing is required, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely. Exceptional customer service skills are necessary to maintain and enhance customer relationships. Familiarity with a wide range of banking products is needed to provide appropriate solutions to customers. Understanding of banking regulation is crucial to ensure compliance with all banking laws and regulations. The candidate should be able to provide banking services efficiently and effectively. The ability to manage business banking relationships is vital for the growth and retention of customers. Experience in community banking will be beneficial in understanding the specific needs of community members. The candidate should be able to handle daily banking operations proficiently. Knowledge of marketing strategies in banking is desirable to attract and retain customers. Cash handling experience is required to manage day-to-day cash transactions accurately and securely.
