Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Clerk in Midland, Texas. This role is within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, where you will be a crucial part of our team, handling a range of tasks to support our operations. Responsibilities: Accurately processing invoices and ensuring they are appropriately coded Performing data entry tasks to maintain and update our records Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in our financial data Executing check runs to manage our financial transactions Utilizing Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present data Communicating effectively with team members and clients to resolve inquiries and issues. Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar Proven ability to perform account reconciliation in a timely and accurate manner Experience with conducting check runs and managing payments Proficiency in coding invoices, ensuring correct categorization and tracking Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Familiarity with invoice processing, including verification, approval, and payment procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and charts Knowledge and understanding of the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry is desirable Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
