Description Management Resource is seeking an Interim Controller in McKinney, for a 3-6 month project. This is 100% onsite. Responsibilities: Conduct weekly financial projections to track and predict financial performance Undertake permanent equivalent (PTE) analysis and budgeting to manage resources effectively Manage the month-end close process and audit to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Perform credit balance auditing to ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date Oversee accounts payable (AP) approval, working closely with the AP team to ensure all payments are processed on time Generate a monthly operating report through the system to provide a comprehensive view of the organization's operations Review and evaluate expenditures as part of expense management to ensure cost-effectiveness Review and process biweekly payroll, collaborating with the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness Handle physician recons/comp, reconciling physician compensation on a monthly basis Carry out analysis for unfunded patients to identify potential financial risks Prepare financials to review with CFO and CEO, providing them with a clear understanding of the organization's financial status Participate in system migration tasks as the organization transitions from RCM to Meditech and GP to Oracle.Requirements Bachelors in Accounting of Finance 5+ years experience as a Controller in the healthcare industry Proficiency in Accounting Functions Strong skills in Auditing Familiarity with Budget Processes Ability to prepare Financial Statements Experience in Month End Close operations Proficiency in Expense Management Understanding of Credit Balance Experience in preparing Monthly Operating reportsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
