Basic Functions:
The basic function of the Trailer Technician is to inspect maintain and repair all trailers assigned including but not limited to flatbed, stepdeck and dry van trailers.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Additional technical training and education in trailer body work and repair. Air brake,
aluminum welding and electrical systems.
Experience:
Minimum of two years working in a trailer repair facility.
Skill, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, Knowledgeable in trailer inspections and repair the
position requires loyalty, common sense to evaluate and detect any anomalies.
Physical:
Standing, sitting, walking. Bending stretching
Ability to lift twenty-five (25 to 50) pounds may be required
Licensing & Certification:
valid drivers license
CDL a plus.
