POSITION OVERVIEW
Under supervision of the store owner, the customer’s service representative is responsible for assisting customers with store services and products. Operate the point-of-sale system, copiers, and other store equipment and other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems
Previous customer service or sales experience in a retail environment preferred
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to translate customer requirements into final products or services
Multitasking – must have the ability to simultaneously process multiple tasks
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license required
Must have high school diploma or be currently enrolled in a high school program
Able to work as a team member
May be required to obtain Notary Public certification
Assist in handling customer complaints and problems in a professional manner
Ability to work flexible hours
Bilingual is a plus
Notary Public certification may be required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(50%) Customer Service
Provides services including copying, laminating, faxing, packing, shipping, passport photos, mailbox rentals and other products and services
Assists customers with their product and service needs in person, through e-mail and by phone
Processes customer sales through the point-of-sale system
Pass background check to be a Fieldprint representative.
(50%) Store Operations
Maintains the store consistent with established standards
Interacts with UPS, FedEx, and USPS couriers, other vendors and all store staff
Sorts and deposits mail in rented mailboxes; bill monthly to renters.
Bill and maintain accounts receivable.
Assists in maintaining and stocking inventory
PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to stand behind a sales counter for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Must be able to communicate clearly with customers by phone, e-mail and in person ()
Must perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
Must have a valid driver's license.
Summer store hours (Friday, June 20 - Aug 1): M-Th: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm; Closed Friday - Sunday.
