Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist in performing general recordkeeping and communication activities required to keep an office functioning. The ability to multi-task is important since daily office tasks will need to be completed while providing team support to ensure efficient operations take place throughout the day. Managing your own workload and priorities on a project, independently researching and solving problems as they arise, taking the initiative to complete tasks without being prompted, setting personal deadlines and meeting them without constant check-ins, and proactively communicating updates on progress without being asked to do so. Attention to detail to cross-check account balances, verify invoice accuracy, and match purchase orders to bills; highlighting any proactive measures taken to identify and correct discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

- Support reception by answering phone calls and directing inquiries

- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry

- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence

- Assist with organizing and maintaining office supplies

- Conduct basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks

- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness

- Process and manage purchase order requests

- Coordinate and arrange the transport of goods via shipping services between shippers and carriers

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an Office Clerk or in a similar role is preferred

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Bilingual in both English and Spanish is required

- Ability to type accurately and efficiently

- Familiarity with clerical procedures and office equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour + depending on experience
