Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Department Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations across eight clinic locations, with more clinics coming soon. This role requires a skilled, proactive individual who can oversee building upkeep, manage company vehicles, maintain the warehouse and inventory, process work orders, and supervise a growing maintenance team. Our Maintenance Department plays a crucial role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our facilities in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance employees across all clinic sites
· Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed: plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical, painting, carpentry, etc.
· Oversee upkeep of clinic buildings, including interior/exterior maintenance, lawn care, and groundskeeping
· Maintain and manage company vehicles, including scheduling regular maintenance and repairs
· Maintain and organize the maintenance warehouse, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safety
· Track and maintain inventory of tools, equipment, parts, and supplies across all locations
· Process work orders efficiently and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests
· Implement and oversee preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment
· Ensure all maintenance operations follow safety protocols and regulations
· Provide training and support to maintenance team members as needed
· Perform regular inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment
· Collaborate with clinic leadership to prioritize tasks and support operational goals
· Assist with facility setup and maintenance planning for new clinic locations as the organization expands
· Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related concerns
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, etc.
· Perform regular landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting
· Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, etc.)
· Ensure proper irrigation and watering of plants and lawns
· Conduct inspections and identify issues or potential problems
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues effectively
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
· Assist with facility upgrades and renovations as needed
· Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services
· Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or related field
· Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
· Strong working knowledge of general maintenance trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, etc.)
· Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record required
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs, use hand/power tools, and work in varying weather conditions
· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
· Experience with work order systems and basic inventory management
· Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
· Proven experience in similar role
· Strong knowledge of building systems and mechanical equipment
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of issues efficiently
· Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices
· Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Must be reliable, organized, and have a strong work ethic
