Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, with hands-on experience in various aspects of vehicle maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about working with vehicles and has the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Duties
Execute welding tasks, ensuring structural integrity and safety standards are met.
Conduct auto painting to restore vehicles to their original condition or enhance their appearance.
Provide auto body repair services, addressing dents, scratches, and other cosmetic damages.
Utilize welding and soldering techniques for repairs and fabrication of parts as needed.
Engage in automotive repair tasks that may include engine diagnostics and electrical system troubleshooting.
Participate in auto restoration projects, bringing classic vehicles back to life through meticulous work.
Fabricate custom parts or components when necessary to meet specific project requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience in auto glass auto painting, vehicle maintenance, or auto body repair is preferred.
Strong understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
Familiarity with automotive repair tools and equipment; ability to use them safely and efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive repair are advantageous.
