We are currently seeking a skilled and versatile mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles, trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. As well as experience in welding to join our maintenance team.
Job Description
This role requires a well-rounded mechanic who can handle a wide range of repairs—everything from diesel trucks and trailers to small engines and handheld landscaping equipment. Welding experience is required for equipment frame repairs and custom fabrication work.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines (trucks, loaders, skid steers, etc.)
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, belt and blade sharpening
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Perform welding and fabrication for equipment frames, trailers, mounts & custom work
Keep maintenance records and parts inventory
Ensure all equipment is in safe, reliable, and field-ready
Occasionally assist in field repairs as needed
Requirements
Experience in automotive and diesel engine repair
Small engine repair experience (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
Welding experience (MIG/TIG or stick preferred)
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop/yard environment
Preferred Qualifications
Mechanic certifications (a plus but not required)
Experience with landscape or construction equipment
Previous experience in landscaping, construction, or similar industries
