Job Summary:
The maintenance technician will assist in home remodeling, repairs and maintenance. Basic construction skills and maintenance experience are required. Maintenance Technician must be able to work unsupervised while performing quality repairs. As a team member performance must align with the companys vision.
Job Responsibilities:
Respond to maintenance request by taking appropriate action
Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the homes
Ensure properties are ready for tenants by performing various and as needed maintenance/repairs
Maintain tools, equipment, work van and workspace.
Perform preventive maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary
General Duties:
General maintenance and repair knowledge
Sheetrock/drywall
Texture and paint
Fencing
Tile
Exterior Repairs/Fascia and soffit
Change locks
Minor roofing
Basic plumbing
Minor electrical
Make readies
Cleaning
Mowing
Tree trimming
Light carpentry
Essential Job Qualifications:
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid drivers license and clean driving record
Needs to have basic hand tools and power tools
Must be available weekdays. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed for emergencies.
Needs to be moderately tech savvy
Needs the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
Ability to pass a background and drug test
