Job Summary:

As a Solar Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our solar energy projects, from project planning and execution to maintenance and client support. You will lead a team of solar professionals, collaborate with clients, and ensure the successful implementation of solar projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in solar operations, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to sustainability and quality.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of solar energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage solar project teams to maximize productivity, quality, and safety.

Resource Allocation: Manage labor, equipment, and materials effectively to optimize project performance and profitability.

Quality Assurance: Ensure solar projects meet quality standards and are completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Client Relations: Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report on project financial performance.

Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring team compliance.

Permitting and Regulations: Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements are met for each solar project.

Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the ongoing maintenance and performance monitoring of solar systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and materials procurement to meet project demands.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout documents.

Problem Resolution: Identify and address issues or obstacles that may affect project timelines or quality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in renewable energy, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in solar operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Strong knowledge of solar energy systems, installation, and maintenance.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Proficiency in project management software and Google Suite applications.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
