Job DescriptionJob Description/Summary:Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Creates integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, and logistics and outside suppliers. Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.Requirements:Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g. operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.Develops specifications for new for new contract orders.Performs supply chain logistics functions, such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain Functions as a generalist or in combination of Disciplines.Develops capacity plans to support build-to-stock and build-to-order environments.Qualifications:2 years minimum of Plant floor control experienceMRP (Material Resource Planning)Proficient with Microsoft Office ApplicationsMust be self-motivated and well organizedFlexible work hoursPreferred/Soft Skills:Bar coding experienceWhy Kelly ® ?At KellyServices ® , we work with the best.
