Date: May 7, 2024 Location: Lewisville, TX, US, 75067 Company: PACCAR Requisition Summary PACCAR Powertrain's Advanced Analytics team is looking for a Program Manager interested in all aspects of the data science cycle with a mechanical engineering background. A successful candidate will be curious, self-driven, analytical and excited to play with data. This position is located at our PACCAR North Texas location in Lewisville, Texas. Job Functions / Responsibilities

Onboard new parts for predictions by gathering information from mechanical engineers/data scientists

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure program success

Coordinate activities to make predictions available to various end-users

Define and evaluate key metrics and understand what moves them and why

Ownership of conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations

Communicating technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders by translating complex findings and results into a compelling narrative

Qualifications Required Qualifications

2 years of Mechanical Engineering experience

Knowledge of:

Diesel Engines

Emissions regulations

SQL and Python

Ability to partner with cross-functional teams using strong written and verbal communication

Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing, and delivering results in a dynamic environment

Initiative on solving problems and completing tasks in a reasonable time frame

Preferred Qualifications

Solid understanding of analytics techniques and statistics

Experience performing thorough exploratory analysis

Emissions Compliance experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, preferably Industrial or Mechanical.

Master's degree preferred.
