Perform thorough inspections of sheet metal components and products at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional tests to identify any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from specifications.
Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify accuracy and precision of sheet metal parts.
Maintain detailed inspection records, including reports, logs, and documentation of inspection results.
Collaborate closely with production teams to address quality issues, provide feedback, and suggest improvements for process optimization.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures, policies, and guidelines to enhance overall product quality and consistency.
