This collaborative role requires alignment with Finance teams and key stakeholders. You will interact with management across teams, shape and execute leadership priorities, and lead strategic projects. Success requires strategic thinking and effective process development for business planning and execution, combining business management, program management, and accounting operations skills.The Accounting Operations team collaborates across Finance and other key stakeholders to manage the record-to-report function for many of Microsoft's core business groups, ensuring timely and compliant close and financial reporting. We also develop automated solutions with built-in compliance and security by design, leading in AI implementation.As a Senior Finance Business Manager , you will partner with the leadership team to develop and execute planning processes, ensuring coordination with corporate planning processes as well as planning integration across the broader organization. You will ensure internal continuation of business operations during all times, including periods of change or special circumstances. This opportunity will allow you to collaborate with internal stakeholders and Microsoft teams to oversee the creation and implementation of execution plans. You will partner with leadership to develop and carry out business priorities, while also helping to manage the team's rhythm of business (ROB). You’ll also ensure continuous internal business operations in both normal and adverse conditions.
You will collaborate with stakeholders and teams to oversee the creation and implementation of strategy and key priorities, while ensuring alignment across functions. You will also use your understanding of strategy to design upcoming budgets.
You will provide leadership support by ensuring team activities are aligned with their goals. This will involve building broad relationships that support activities across the business and communicating key leadership priorities.
You will monitor organizational health, respond to team culture issues, and promote cultural initiatives. This will involve planning and executing trainings, tracking polls, and ensuring a healthy compliance scorecard.
You will contribute to cross-team projects as needed to meet changing business requirements and manage business needs. You’ll also work on projects for larger areas, especially those requiring hands-on experience.

Business Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
