Data Entry Clerk - Kyle, TX

Description Our client is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Entry Clerk to join their dynamic healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vital aspect of patient care by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of medical records. This contract assignment is expected to last 4-6 weeks, starting as soon as May 31st. This position is fully onsite and will require excellent typing skills with speed and accuracy.Key Responsibilities:· Enter and update patient information and medical records into electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC.· Verify accuracy and completeness of data from various sources.· Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.· Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff.· Perform data quality checks and audits.· Assist in report generation and data analysis.· Organize and manage paper and electronic files.· Provide general administrative support.Requirements Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing, coding, or healthcare administration is a plus.· Experience in data entry, preferably in a medical setting.· Proficient in using EHR systems such as Cerner, Meditech, or EPIC.· Excellent typing speed and accuracy.· Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.· Strong organizational and communication skills.· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
