Provide environmental support at the site level for the Kosse Mine Facility.

Work with environmental agencies (e.g., TRRC, TCEQ, USFW, TPWD, USACE etc.) and provide expertise in environmental regulations as appropriate.

Participate in planning, development, and implementation of environmental projects as required or needed to support business operations.

Coordinate with consultants/vendors who support environmental projects.

Participate and assist with Compliance Assistance Visits (CAVs) and inspections as necessary including final report preparation and follow up corrective actions.

Generate, provide, and support, all air, water, and land/waste construction/installation permit and registration applications, renewals, and revisions to operating permits., This includes tracking deadlines, coordinating with facilities and assuring the issued permits provide maximum flexibility for operations, as necessary.

Support, prepare, and submit appropriate environmental notification, records, and reports including sampling, data input and reviews, Tier II, DMRs, Pond Reports, Stormwater, Waste Summaries and Receipts, Chemical Inventories, other quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports pursuant to air, land and water permitting and regulatory requirements, etc.

Education, Experience & Skills Requirements

Four+ years in life sciences, geology, engineering, operations or equivalent experience. Farming or Land Management background is preferred, but not required. Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills.

Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.

Incumbent must possess and demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate to peers, management and Luminant Leadership. Communication may include written and oral technical presentations and periodic updates to Luminant Leadership, local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.

Minimum education is HS Diploma or GED equivalency
