Position: Full-Time Manufacturing Supervisor / Quarry Foreman
Job Summary: Apache Stone Quarry is looking for a motivated, self-starting individual to join our growing team. Quarry experience is not a requirement if other skillsets are met. This role is to lead a team of employees in manufacturing and quarry related tasks while ensuring safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Take charge of leading a team of manufacturing / quarry personnel, prioritizing safety, and ensuring a high production output. Implement a hands-on approach to daily operations.
Safety and Compliance: Vigorously enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections and safety meetings, and maintain a safe working environment. Ensure team members are properly trained in their respective job roles.
Quality Control: Maintain stringent oversight of quality control procedures to guarantee that all products meet or surpass specified standards and exceed customer expectations for quality.
Process Evaluation & Implementation: As an always evolving company it is key to have a continuous improvement mindset. Evaluating processes to ensure safety and efficiency is key. Implementing new processes and ensuring team compliance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a quarry or related industry.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Comprehensive knowledge of quarry operations, manufacturing, or construction industries.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
