Position Summary:
Perform grounds keeping duties by caring for and landscaping grounds surrounding a business or building. Previous experience in this field required for this position. DRIVERS MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE,
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicle with or without trailer to get mowing crew to job sites.
Mowing, edging, liter pick-up and weed eating of turf areas using hand power or riding mower.
Trimming shrubs, ground covers, small trees, manual weeding shrub beds and turf area.
Application of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and fertilizers.
Plant shrubs, trees and ground covers.
Pull tall weeds and nurture smaller weeds using lawn care products.
Able to operate large riding mowers and gas powered spray rigs.
Water plants and grass as needed.
Mix and spray or spread fertilizer, herbicides or insecticides onto grass, shrubs and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
Perform other duties as instructed by crew lead.
Qualifications
Proficient in safely using manual and power tools.
Able to meet and exceed deadlines.
Must have drivers license.
Drivers must be at least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)
Willingness to follow Instructions.
Willing to undergo a background check (after position is offered)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Available to work as scheduled.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Possess good attendance and punctuality.
