Job description
Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all the components of the irrigation system.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Perform underground irrigation maintenance and service work as assigned.
· Repair, test, and troubleshoot underground lawn sprinklers, including water lines, and valves.
· Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
· Ability to perform irrigation tasks such as operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
· Knowledge of manual and/or computerized irrigation systems
· Effectively identify irrigation system issues not listed on work orders and communicate in a timely manner with the manager on these issues.
. Evaluate winterization of each system.
· Correctly document all labor time, component inventory and equipment used on all work orders for proper billing.
· Ensured quality guidelines are exceedingly met.
· Comply with all safety regulations.
. Backflow repair is a plus (not required)
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience working with commercial and/or residential irrigation system including underground lawn sprinkler system repair and installation experience. (Certified is a plus)
· Dependability
· Able to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
· Able to work in a team environment, as well as individually.
· Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Must have a valid Driver’s License.
> Must be at least 21 years old for Insurance purposes.
PAY IS DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
