At KBR, we're seeking a driven CH-47F Instructor Pilot, Rotary Wing to join our Aviation Flight Section as part of a very demanding Foreign Military Aviation Training Program at West Fort Cavazos involving Aviation Operations, Logistics, and Maintenance. As a CH-47F Instructor Pilot, you will assist the U.S. Government and its Foreign Military Sales (FMS) client with the execution of the customers flight training program and with the development of tactical scenarios in support of flight training and joint training with ground military forces. You will also assist the Standardization Section with training development, exercise control and mission execution. Your contributions will be instrumental in the training and development of Foreign Military Training (FMT) aircrew members and infantry. Conduct flight training in aircraft in according with applicable regulations and policies.
Assist with aerial gunnery planning, preparation, training, range safety officers’ duties, and aviation range support operations.
Provide instrument training and evaluation.
Assist in developing and evaluating full spectrum joint operations.
Assist in developing and writing flight maneuver tasks.
Assist in conducting specialized training to assist in unit training programs.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Graduate of the U.S. Army CH-47 Instructor Pilot Course
Must have 2000 Mission Design Series (MDS) of which 500 hours must be in the series (CH-47F CAAS)
Must have 500 flight hours as an Instructor Pilot in the CH-47
Must have 500 Night Vision Device hours
Must have a Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Must have an FAA Medical Certificate Second Class at hire and throughout the duration of the contract
Must have an FAA Commercial Instrument Rotary Wing License
Must have a Texas Driver’s License
Must be able to create reports using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to communicate succinctly with customer and client
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of the U.S. Army Instrument Flight Examiners Course
Joint Firepower Course Certified
