The Maintenance Supervisor will work hand in hand with the Maintenance Manager to ensure the shop and mechanics have the tools they need to be successful. This role is located in Kermit, TX.Responsibilities:
Liaison between the Maintenance Manager and Mechanics
Oversee all maintenance related work
Ensure all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines
Responsible for Maintenance Logs, Telematics Database, 6 Sigma Programs, Lean Shop Programs
Assists with Maintenance Request for Work and Service History System
Assists with Recovery of Broken-Down Assets
Assists with the Status and Location of Assets
Assists with Workorder Prioritization (Shutdown vs Maintenance)
Accountable for DOT Inspections and Performance
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years recent experience in Transportation managing a Maintenance Department
Knowledge of preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles
Experience overseeing the coordination, planning, scheduling of all repair work to increase productivity
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong aptitude in electronic communication, electronic record keeping and technical systems
Experience using CMMS software is a plus
