Job Description Select’s Staff Assistant provides administrative support to the employees regarding any office procedures. The Staff Assistant will handle information requests and will perform clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings for management.The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

Answers phones and directs calls to appropriate parties or takes messages.

Greets visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.

Reads and analyzes incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.

Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems.

Files and retrieves corporate documents, records and reports.

Opens, sorts and distributes incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.

Makes travel arrangements for management.

This position works inside a climate-controlled environment. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.

Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.

Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.

Needs high degree of concentration in a busy area.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
