Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance or relevant field of study preferred
Work Experiences:
Experience in ec ommerce, brand management, marketing, buying, retail, or relevant area
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external cross functional partners
Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
Self-motivated and highly curious, with the ability to work on multiple projects
Leads by example and models a passion for the business
Demonstrates a proactive and solution orientated style
Highly organized with the ability to understand strategic priorities while maintaining high attention to detail
Experience in Microstrategy, Google Analytics, and/or business analytics preferred
Responsibilities:
Partners with ecommerce merchandising team in the development and execution of: expanded online assortments, marketing, taxonomy, and search
Assists ecommerce merchandisers with obtaining information regarding new trends and products from key suppliers/vendors
Partners with support teams with new item set up, launches, and promotional events
Develops thorough understanding of category performance, trends, and competitive assortment, and pricing
Drives improvement in the performance of the site and helps execute projects and initiatives to further enhance the shopping experience
Communicates and collaborates with key cross-functional stakeholders to support traffic & sales driving strategies and the best possible customer experience
Conducts competitive research to recognize trends and provides recommendations based on findings to cross functional groups
Participates in daily creative thinking and problem solving
Informally shares appreciation and feedback to improve the performance of others
Develop a thorough understanding of Academy’s policies, procedures and safety rules
Ability to remain flexible & innovative; Duties may change and team member may be required to take on additional projects and/or tasks within Omnichannel merchandising
