Senior Business System Analyst Direct Hire Irving, TX (Hybrid) Responsibilities: Documenting business requirements and processes, resolving production issues, data analysis, application configuration, integration, visualization and other duties as assigned for administration and management service and retail operations. Work in an Agile environment to document user stories, requirements, etc Develop and execute plans for critical projects including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and business communication activities Work with Business Team and IT teams on Project Prioritization and timing Set expectations with partners including business and IT around the timing of all new business demands Partners with the business to design workflows of current and proposed processes Regularly partner with developers on enhancements and changes Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements Define test cases and develop and execute test plans Coordinate QA and User Acceptance Testing. Analyzes production issues to determine problem source and recommend solutions Respond to and complete Help Desk Tickets in a timely and professional manner. Requirements 8+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst in a Service, Retail or Distribution industry Deep knowledge of Project Management Methodology, End-to-End understanding of project life cycle - defining scope and requirements clearly through testing and system implementation Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to translate business functionality and opportunities into clear, precise, and easy-to-read functional specifications Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how IT needs to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals SQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and/or DB2 database management systems is a plus. Experience in Software integrations and sending data to and from other applications Lead the solution user acceptance testing cycles - including test scenario documentation and sign off by the business. Analyze business partner operations to understand strengths/weaknesses and identify opportunities to improve processes and functions Works closely with the IT organization on the project close phase, and transitions to the normal support organization once agreed metrics have been achieved Supports the day-to-day work of the integrated planning function by offering help, advice, and troubleshooting on the systems that have been implemented. #Dice-SPG #CB-SPG #IND-SPG #Mon-SPG
