· Greets and pre-screen job seekers to determine employment eligibility and assess their job search needs.· Provide just-in-time advice or on-the-spot solutions, using your knowledge of current labor market trends, job search resources and tools.· Coaches job seekers by helping them navigate all available resources such as Traitify, an assessment tool, WorkInTexas, the recruiting system for the workforce center, create and/or update their resume using WIT and create a social medial presence using LinkedIn.· Refers job seekers to other team members who can provide them with more in-depth workforce services assistance.· Demonstrates exemplary customer service to all job seekers.· Multi-tasks by providing service to multiple job seekers simultaneously while being fully conscious of their time demands as well as your own.· Builds and maintain strong relationships with job seekers, striving for excellence in the customer engagement experience.· Interviews clients, and may use assessment tools, to assess education experience, skills, interest, and other relevant factors to fully explore clients career development opportunities and possible training needs.· Identifies and responds to business needs, proposes solutions to human resource challenges, manages and coordinates delivery of services, and promotes the services and programs of Equus Workforce Solutions and partner agencies.· Provides advanced-level professional support for Workforce Development programs such as examining, inspecting, investigating, tracking of trends, and/or researching of program activities and career service aspirations.· Assists in hiring activities such as job fairs either in the Career Center or employer’s local business or selected location.· Interacts simultaneously with clients and WIT and/or TWIST database(s) to capture, record and access information.· Assists applicants in developing quality WIT applications for employment by securing and recording information reflecting work qualifications based on experience, training, skills, abilities, interests and other factors relevant to proper selection for referral to suitable job openings; assigns proper occupational codes.· Performs employment counseling and/or case management of applicants who present unusual placement and/or job adjustment challenges, especially during periods of high unemployment and stressed economic conditions.
