- Senior Tableau Developer
- The Senior Tableau Report Developer to manage the lifecycle of Tableau analytics dashboards, including business requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation.
- The developer will create powerful dashboards, datasource, create action filters, parameters and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.
- This role will also design and implement processes and standards to aid in report development and support.
- Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
- Hands on with Tableau Desktop (dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, data source management).
- Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping or design.
- Fine-tuned SQL Queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
- Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
- Creating visualizations for the data extracted with the help of Tableau
- Managing Tableau Server and Administration on Linux Server including Tableau server upgrade or installation.
- Finding the key areas of automation to make the business processes smooth
- 10 plus years of experience in enterprise BI development
- 7 years of hand on experience with Tableau
- Experience in relational databases Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB experience in managing unstructured data
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques or methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Strong Analytical and communication skills
- Analytics using BigData is a plus
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with TabPy and Data Management Addon is Plus.
- Experience in working within an Agile development methodology is a plus
